PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS;
1. CITY OF FRISCO AMENDMENTS REQUIRES THAT CORRIDORS 113 AND 100 SHALL BE PROTECTED BY AT LEAST 1-HOUR FIRE RATED CONSTRUCTION FROM FLOOR TO ROOF DECK ABOVE.
2. MEZZANINE/STORAGE IS AN INCIDENTAL AREA TO MAIN OCCUPANCY OF GROUP B OFFICE BUILDING AND SHALL BE SEPARATED BY AT LEAST 1-HOUR FIRE RESISTIVE CONSTRUCTION FROM THE REST OF THE BUILDING. THEREFORE CHANGE THE PROPOSED 42" WALL TO A FULL HEIGHT FROM FLOOR TO DECK ABOVE WITH FIRE SAFING ON BOTH SIDES OF THE WALL. LIKEWISE THE FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY SHALL BE PROTECTED ALSO.
3. SAFETY GLAZING AS REQUIRED IN IBC 2406.
4. HI/LO DRINKING FOUNTAIN AND MOP SINK ARE REQUIRED.
5. MEMBRANE PENETRATIONS SHALL NOT REDUCE THE FIRE RESISTANCE RATING OF 1-HOUR FIRE RATED CONSTRUCTION.
6. ROOF INSULATION SHALL BE R-20 MINIMUM.
7. THE FIRE RESISTIVE RATING OF EXTERIOR WALLS 5 FEET OR LESS FROM THE PROPERTY LINE SHALL BE RATED FOR EXPOSURE TO FIRE ON BOTH SIDES WHILE EXTERIOR WALLS 5 TO 20 FEET FROM THE PROPERTY LINE SHALL BE RATED FOR EXPOSURE TO FIRE FROM THE INSIDE.
8. COMBINATION FIRE/SMOKE DAMPERS REQUIRED ON ALL DUCTS AND AIR TRANSFER OPENINGS THAT PENETRATES A RATED CONSTRUCTION.
9. SUBJECT TO FIELD INSPECTION AND TESTING.
