2. EXISTING DEMISING WALLS ARE TO BE UL-U465 1 HR. RATED, MAINTAIN 1 HR. FIRE/SMOKE CONSTRUCTION WI/FIRE SEAL FLOOR TO ROOF DECK WHERE DUCT/PIPE WALL PENETRATIONS ARE PRESENT.
3. SUBJECT TO FIRE MARSHAL & CITY APPROVED INSPECTIONS AND TESTING.
4. TEMPERED WINDOWS/GLASS WHERE REQ'D.
5. FULLY SPRINKLED, II-B CONSTRUCTION, 27 OCC.
6. INTERIOR FINISHES:
CLASS C GROUP M -- FLAME SPREAD 76-200, SMOKE DEV. 0-450
7. 1 HR. FIRE/SMOKE CONNECTION TO MULLION.
Mechanical ordinance 06-11-113
1. All duct work to be sealed with mastic, welds, or gaskets; Tapes not accepted.
2. All exhaust fans to terminate outside of the bldg.
3. Fresh air intakes to be 10 ft. away or 2 ft. below exhaust gas openings & require dampers to close intake when not in use.
4. Mech. Contractor to be responsible for duct sizing and load calculation.
5. Mech. Contractor to verify fresh air intake per IMC 403 & table 403.3
6. Mech. Installation to comply with 2003 IECC and supplements.
7. Rigid duct required with 6 ft. (R-6) flex duct connector allowed between rigid duct and diffuser.
8. Set back T-Stats required for each zone.
9. Smoke detectors/dampers to be installed per chapter 6 of IMC.
10. Subject to field review and inspection
11. FIRE/SMOKE DAMPERS WHERE PENETRATING 1 HR. CORRIDORS WHERE THESE DUCTS COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER OPENINGS IN THAT SAME CORRIDOR.
12. Any mechanical equipment mounted on roof shall comply with the screening ordinance Article 4 section 11.09 (D). Line of sight 6' above grade at property line.
