Fire Pit
1- All work performed must meet the 2018 IRC standards.
2- May not intrude on side or rear yard setbacks.
3- Acceptable fire extinguishing device must be readily accessible.
4- Fire pits shall have a minimum distance of fifteen feet (15') from the main structure and ten feet (10') from any combustible item.
5- Subject to field inspection approval. Call (972) 292-5386 for inspection.
6- City of Frisco approval is not in lieu of homeowner association HOA requirements. Reference HOA bylaws for subdivision requirements.
All fire features to be considered as appliances shall be tested and listed by a NRTL as compliant with ANSI z21.42 or z21.97, otherwise they shall be considered as open burning fire pits and subject to the setback requirement of the international fire code and comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
