Balcony Addition
1- All work performed must meet the 2018 IRC standards and abide by the City of Frisco comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, and all other city Ordinances.
2- Balcony railing spacing is 3 3/4" and railing height between 34'' and 38'' required.
3- Balcony railing shall be anchored to existing structure. Must be able to withstand a 200 lb. Lateral load.
4- All wood must be weather treated.
5- An engineer's inspection and final letter of acceptance is required.
6- No electrical or plumbing permit requested or issued.
7- Temped glazing where required.
8- The method of attachment of new balcony to existing home must be visible at time of inspection.
9- Subject to field inspection approval. Call (972) 292-5386 for inspection.
10- City of Frisco approval is not in lieu of homeowner association HOA requirements. Reference HOA bylaws for subdivision requirements.
