ENGINEERING COMMENTS:
1. Include definition of “compacted soil” in details for soil beneath the walls and behind the walls, such that it may be verified by observation in the field.
2. The wall shall be fully mortared and all section details should include the statement “no voids” when specifying mortared zones.
3. Embedment shall be a minimum of one (1) foot per International Building Code (IBC).
BUILDING INSPECTION COMMENTS:
4 FT IN HEIGHT RETAINING WALL LOCATIONS AS SPECIFIED ON SITE PLAN AND REFERENCE APPROVED PLANS.
SUBJECT TO FIELD INSPECTION APPROVAL. CALL (972) 292-5386 FOR FOOTING AND BUILDING FINAL INSPECTION REQUIRED.
SHALL NOT BE LOCATED WITH ANY DEDICATED EASEMENTS.
LETTER OF ENGINEER FINAL ACCEPTANCE REQUIRED FOR INSPECTION AND CONSTRUCTION CONFORMANCE WITH DESIGN DRAWINGS.
PROVIDE EROSION CONTROL THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. PROVIDE SOIL STABILIZATION AT COMPLETION OF PROJECT.
***ENGINEERS DESIGN WILL NOT SUPPORT SURCHARGE LOADS OF BUILDINGS.
***GRADING CHANGE SHALL NOT OBSTRUCT DRAINAGE OF ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
