03. WATER VELOCITY SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO PREVENT WATER VELOCITY IN SUCTION PIPING FROM EXCEEDING 6 FPS (FEET PER SECOND), AND PRESSURE PIPING FROM EXCEEDING 10 FPS. WATER VELOCITY THROUGH SUCTION GRATES/COVERS SHALL NOT EXCEED 1.5 FPS WITH ONE GRATE 100% BLOCKED, OR THE ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 - 2007 OR SUCCESSOR STANDARD APPROVED GPM (GALLONS PER MINUTE) FLOW RATE WITH ONE COVER 100% BLOCKED.
08. CONTRACTORS: INFORM HOMEOWNER OF NECESSITY FOR INSPECTORS TO ACCESS BACKYARD.
09. OPTIONS NOT PART OF POOL STRUCTURE AS WELL AS PATIO COVERS, ARBORS, OUTDOOR KITCHENS, BBQ GRILLS, FIRE PLACES/PITS AND FENCES REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT
10. EQUIPMENT MUST BE 3' MINIMUM FROM PROPERTY LINE. TURNOVER RATE TO BE LESS THAN 6 HRS.
12. CONTRACTOR REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH ALL ORDINANCES. DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE TO ASSIST YOU AT CITY OFFICES.

21. DISTANCE FROM NEAREST FOUNDATION (1:1 RATIO) DEPTH/DISTANCE FROM BACK TO BEAM TO FOUNDATION OR AN ENGINEER'S LETTER REQUIRED.
23. NO PART OF POOL BEAM OR DECK MAY BE BUILT IN ANY EASEMENT. ANYTHING PLACED IN AN EASEMENT IS SUBJECT TO REMOVAL OR RELOCATION AT HOMEOWNER EXPENSE.
24. ALL OUTLETS THAT SUPPLY POOL PUMP MOTOR(S) AND ARE CONNECTED TO SINGLE PHASE 120-VOLT THROUGH 240-VOLT BRANCH CIRCUITS, WHETHER BY RECEPTACLE OR DIRECT CONNECTION, MUST HAVE GFCI PROTECTION FOR PERSONNEL. IF THE GFCI PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR THE POOL PUMP REQUIRES ACCESS TO THE RESIDENCE, IT IS THE PERMIT HOLDER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THE HOMEOWNER/OCCUPANT TO ALLOW ACCESS BY BUILDING INSPECTION STAFF FOR VERIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE.
